well hey!
guess what, i´m pretty much coming home in like three
seconds!! haha relax, not in that way, just that this whole entire week
felt like one super fast day that never even happened! but it was really
super great. i met an atheist who thought i was forty years old and
tried to explain how one big bang makes more sense than a higher power
than us. also my companion and i gave a blessing to a man named jesús
because he asked for it and said that a woman had broken his heart and
he needed help to get over it. so as we were giving the blessing he
started telling my companion what to say haha it was so different, but
it all worked out and my companion just tuned him out and followed the
spirit like he should.
remember when i said one of my investigators was pregnant?!
they had the baby!!! it´s name is emily and it´s so precious. they are
going to have the baptismal interview either today or tomorrow and they
are both sooo stoked to get baptized and go to the temple to be sealed
together forever.
i also figured out that i suck super bad at soccer! every
argentine is a thousand times better than me, i thought i might have
something in common with the people cuz i played soccer before, but
there is nothing in common, they are on a whole different level than me,
the children, the people my age as well as the old people, it´s unfair.
i definately get enough to eat and i really have to thank you
for the money i was able to take out last week, the don´t give us the
most money ever here to get by and i´m not so good at budgeting yet so
there really could not have been a better time to have money than that,
thank you so much!!!!! we don´t have a car, a lot of the traveling we do
is by bus and taxi and of course walking. if we have a lot of time we
walk, if we don´t have enough time to walk there we take a bus and if
we´re late we call a taxi cuz those are super expensive and we try to do
that the least possible. but really don´t worry, the people are super
duper nice, the only problem is that they steal all the packages that
you guys send to me. i heard about a trick where people will put
pictures of the virgin mary or jesus on the outside so it will get
there. cuz i´ll be honest, it´s probably not even against any rules here
to steal the packages out of the mail, but if there is something like
that they might have a little more respect i hope haha i don´t know.
thank you so much for the support and love though, i´ll see you all in
10 weeks. it´s crazy how fast this time has gone
